"I was born in the middle of a harsh leaf-bare. During this hard time I lost both of my parents. After the death of my mother ,another queen, Goldenleaf who had lost her own kits agreed to take me in. I was very upset about my mother's death and much to my shame now I took out some of my anger on Goldenleaf. I said many things I shouldn't have to her, but she was very gentle and understanding. She loved me as if I was one of her own kits and over time I came to love her like my own mother. She was always there when I needed her, even after I got older. It's thanks to her that I'm the warrior I am today. She's gone to StarClan now, but I know she's still watching over me. So thank you Goldenleaf for everything you did for me, and I...I'm sorry for the things I said, you were a good mother to me and now I can say I'm proud to be your son."
